Anita Klein
ARTIST-ILLUSTRATOR-CARTOONIST
Anita attended two years of the Fine Arts Program at the Emily Carr College of Art and received her Associate Degree in Art & Design from Kwantlen College. After working as a commercial artist and designer for ten years, Anita returned to creating fine art, teaching art and offering art demos.
Working in a variety of mediums - primarily in acrylic, watercolour, coloured pencil, and pen & ink - her award winning artwork is collected internationally. Subjects for her art are varied but her love of horses, nature and the western life remain a favourite for her paintings and drawings. Click on the paintings shown below to see enlarged images.
Anita’s cartoons have been recognized by the Academy of Western Artists and awarded Anita the 2015 Cartoonist of the Year Award, presented in Fort Worth, Texas.
Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Anita joined FLAG Spring 2026.
